Why We Give
Remove Barriers. Build futures.
OUR COMMITMENT
Education should not stall over a few hundred dollars. Every year, we fund two $1,000 awards, one for military dependents who do not qualify for the Post-9/11 GI® Bill and another that is open to anyone pursuing education. No minimum GPA, no lengthy essays, no barriers we wouldn’t want to face ourselves.
Two $1,000 Awards. A short application. No runaround.
Veracity Research Solutions believes access to clear information should never be a barrier to opportunity. This belief shapes these scholarships as much as it shaped our work. Read both descriptions below. If you qualify for the first, you may apply to both.
For Military Dependents
ONE $1,000 AWARD
Military families can fall into a gap: someone served, but the Post-9/11 GI Bill® isn't there for the family. Maybe the service member used it themselves. Maybe they couldn't transfer it, or chose not to. Maybe they served in an era it never covered. This award is for the spouses and children who are paying their own way regardless.
YOU'RE ELIGIBLE IF:
You're the spouse or child of a service member or veteran of any branch and any era.
You are not receiving and not scheduled to receive transferred Chapter 33 benefits.
You're enrolled or accepted at an accredited college, university, or vocational program.
Open to Everyone
ONE $1,000 AWARD
No minimum GPA. No military affiliation required. No essay about your greatest weakness. If you're working toward an education and $1,000 would make a real difference this term, this one is for you. We're interested in where you're headed and what it's taking to get there. Applying to this award does not affect your chances at the other one.
YOU'RE ELIGIBLE IF:
You're enrolled or accepted at an accredited college, university, or vocational program.
That's it!
